The Dam Busters.
Facilities management..or..doing the stuff that allows business to direct their resources and people to the core business activity rather than keeping the heating on or unblocking toilets.
It certainly covers a wide range of services and locations, and shooting this stuff gets you into some unusual and fascinating locations, and sometimes the stuff of Hollywood films.
Hollywood aside, I got to see the original water tanks at the National Physical Laboratories, Teddington. The same location as the 'Bouncing Bomb' developed by Barnes Wallis during the 2nd world war and made famous by the 'Dam Busters' (RAF 617 Sqn)
Being able to create images in the same location as some of sciences greatest thinkers is an inspiration itself, and I'm sure that today's staff there really appreciate the work FM is doing in keeping the place warm, dry, illuminated, secure and of course a good meal.
